Inclement weather & Safety Precautions
i.The pool authority and swimming instructor reserve the exclusive rights to cancel or postpone swimming lessons during bad weather conditions for safety reasons.
ii.Once a swimming lesson has commenced and has to be called off in the middle of a lesson due to bad weather or any unforeseen circumstances, the coach reserves the right to stop the lesson in view of your safety. There will be no refund/makeup for this class.
Attendance & Make Up Policy
Private Lesson
i. Any cancellation of classes must be done with at least a 2 weeks notice period where fees will be waived, anything less will incur a 50% charge regardless of reason.
ii. There will be no charge if coach cancels class or if class needs to be cancelled due to wet weather (only heavy rain or when there is lightning).
iii. Make-up lessons on another day may be arranged at the instructor’s convenience.
It is the responsibility of the student to arrange for make-up lesson if the lesson is cancelled.
iv. Should any lessons coincide with public holidays, it is up to the instructor’s discretion to continue class, otherwise student may arrange for a make-up class at instructor’s convenience. Do check with the instructor.
v. Rescheduling can be done by student or instructor, where both parties must agree upon. Once agreed, cancellation policy applies.
Payment
Upon registration and confirmation with Swim Voyage, the student is required to make a deposit of $50 via bank transfer within 3 days to confirm the reserved slot. The remainder of the fees may be paid on the day lesson commences. Should you decide to withdraw from the class, the registration deposit will be forfeited.
Other than the 1st month payment on the 1st lesson, subsequent payment must be made every 4th lesson.
For Private Condo / Club
i.Students are required to pay for any deposit, entrance or parking fees (if applicable) for the instructor.
ii.Different condo management has their own set of policy for swimming lessons. Students are encouraged to check the requirement before hiring private swimming coach.
Termination
Students are required to serve at least 1 month notice for any temporary or permanent suspension/withdrawal from swimming lessons. Otherwise, normal fees will apply.
